This means that you must start to say no to habits that you grew up with or fell into as you got older. It means taking another look at advice that you’ve long held as solid beliefs.
I wish I had known that sooner. I made many mistakes in my own diet and I regret some of the foods that I gave to my children. I am guilty of giving them too much sugar, too much food coloring and not enough vegetables (among many other mistakes).
Take a look at your unhealthy habits and choose one that you need to start working on until it becomes a natural part of who you are. Don’t wait until New Year’s Eve and don’t make a resolution. Just make the decision today to change. It’s that easy.
