Honestly, don’t you already know what what foods are healthy and what foods are not healthy? Of course you do. We all do. You’ve read the magazines, you’ve seen the new reports and you’ve probably even Googled it. You know that chocolate cake is not healthy (even if you still eat it).
I agree that there can be a fine line between what is healthy and what isn’t. What can be healthy one day is suddenly not healthy another day. What is healthy for one person is not healthy for another person. Gluten free foods are right for one person and not for another. Same with nuts and seeds… if you have diverticulitis then you can’t eat them. Otherwise, they are healthy.

Like everything else, it starts with your decision. Make the decision to be healthy and commit to it. On a daily basis, focus on what being healthy means to you.
You always get more of what you focus on. Whether it is good or bad.

1. Ask yourself what a healthy woman says to herself
A healthy woman does not say “I really want that dessert but I am going to be good and not have it.” Instead, she focuses on the healthy food and says “Eating that salad is going to make me feel so healthy and energetic.” Do you see the difference in the focus?
2. Ask what specific behaviors does a healthy woman engage in
A healthy woman makes exercise a regular part of her life. It is a non-negotiable activity because she knows that this is what will keep her healthy as she gets older. She stocks her kitchen with healthy choices. She drinks lots of water. Does she smoke? Probably not.
3. See yourself doing and thinking those same things
On a daily basis, practice doing and thinking the same things that a healthy woman does. If you catch yourself saying things to yourself that don’t support your vision, catch yourself in the moment and turn it around. Give yourself a gentle reminder that you are becoming a naturally healthy woman.
You already know how to be healthy and now is the time to do it. Pay attention to what other healthy women are doing and start to make those habits your own. Surround yourself with positive people who support you as you create new healthy lifestyle habits.
